DANCE @ MEGARON UNDERGROUND | EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES
Seven debutant choreographers collaborate with seven young musicians-composers in order to create original works presented to the public on two consecutive days. This show has been preceded by eight weeks of intensive preparation at a creative collaboration workshop taught by Sophia Mavragani and Thanos Polymeneas-Liontiris.
The workshop studies the relationship between dance and music through a process of collaboration that offers to participants the technical tools for creation as well as the experience of creative interaction. The ultimate goal is to provide artistic support to those making their first appearance, to reinforce their aesthetic choices, and to network a rising generation of young artists.
