The year 2010 is Chopin Year (the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth) – to be marked all over the world with many events.

The Music Library of Greece “Lilian Voudouri”, in collaboration with the French Institute of Athens, is hosting a fascinating exhibition created by the Cité de la Musique in Paris and the French National Library.

The exhibition is entitled “Chopin in Paris: the composer’s studio”, and consists of a range of acoustic, visual, and written materials, aimed primarily at a younger audience.

Paintings based on of the work of the great romantic composer and his life in Paris will be on display, while visitors will have the opportunity to virtually navigate the acoustic and visual contents of a special digital program.
