MEGARON PLUS

In collaboration with the book magazine (e-version) O Anagnostis

Does each age produce its own poetry? And if so, how does poetry transcend its own age to speak to future generations? Does the age in which poetry takes root play a crucial role in its form and nature? Could the poems written today have been written a hundred years ago? And if so, what sort of anachronism would this be? These are some of the questions the speakers will be addressing.

The discussion, featuring a number of poets, will be organized by the poet Thanasis Hatzopoulos, the University of Athens professor and poet Euripides Garantoudis, and the author Elena Houzouri, who will be coordinating the discussion on behalf of the e-magazine O Anagnostis.
