The talented soloists and ensembles that participated in this year’s ‘International Guitar Meetings’ Art Campus and received awards in the musical contests play virtuosic works, in two separate concerts organized by the Friends of Music Society.
The Art Campus educational programme took place at the European Cultural Centre of Delphi, during the week 8-14 July 2019, under the sponsorship of the George P. Livanos Family, and with Greek soloists Liza Zoe and Evangelos Assimakopoulos, an internationally acclaimed guitar duo with a long career and important discography, as artistic consultants and teachers.
The chamber music classes were taught by noted violinist Dimitris Semsis, concertino at the Athens State Orchestra. Guest teachers from great foreign music academies included Gabriel Bianco, Rovshan Mamedkuliev, and Marco Tamayo, three world-class soloists with numerous awards to their credit, and brilliant concert and discographic careers.
