Matsushita Akisai is a composer and a singer-songwriter. She studied classical music and was influenced by a wide range of music including jazz and rock. In her late teens, she began working on commissioned music, but after more than 10 years of life experience, she restarted her career as a composer. She started entering international competitions in 2020, and received an honorable mention in The Indie Gathering Film Scoring Competition 2020, and in The UK Songwriting Contest.
