George Kontrafouris returns to Athens to offer melodic relief in our difficult times. After a creative period, search, and international -as so many years- presence, the world-famous pianist and organist comes to play for the capital of his native Greece, in its most beautiful garden. With his Trio, which consists of him on piano, Kimonas Karoutzos on bass and Jason Wastor on drums, they will present their latest work entitled “The Passing”. The album was released in January 2020 with five new compositions by the author and two covers, in his favorite older tracks.
