The struggle for National Rebirth is a unique occasion for rekindling our relationship with the Greek artistic musical creation – present and past. Treasured pages from our national musical heritage, ranging from epic to lyrical in their mood and from romantic to modernist in their idiom, yet all of them sharing the same need to sincerely express an authentic “Greekness”, come to the light under the baton of rising conductor Dionysis Grammenos, with pianist Tatiana Papageorgiou as soloist.
