Teodor Currentzis, after the great international success of  his atmospheric concert of the 7th Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven with MusicAeterna at the ancient theatre of Delphi last June, returns to Megaron to celebrate his birthday with two concerts, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February (20:30), at the Christos Lambrakis Hall.

The awarded musical director and the orchestral ensemble that fascinated a 2-million-plus audience with their interpretation of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony last summer, along with the MusicAeterna Choir, are coming to Athens with their thoughts always focused on the great German composer, and to perform their own interpretation of his 9th Symphony, one of the iconic classical music symphonies.
