Alexandra Papastergiopoulou was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She a graduate of the Master’s Degree in “Music Culture and Communication” postgraduate programme of the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and of the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia (specialisation in Greek traditional percussion). She has a diploma from the School of Byzantine Music (2018, class of P. Papaemmanouil) and a degree in advanced music theory (2015, class of K. Tsougras), both from the State Conservatoire of Thessaloniki. She actively participates with various musical ensembles in various productions in Greece and abroad, as well as in the domestic recording industry, and has written music for theatre, films and documentaries. She is currently attending the Percussion School of the Athens Conservatoire (class of A. Farmakis).
