Megaron the Athens Concert Hall is a member of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), a network that brings together some of the major concert halls in Europe. Each year, ECHO selects young and exceptionally gifted artists who give concerts as its Rising Stars in the network’s member concert halls. The ECHO Rising Stars series has existed since 1995 and has shaped the musical careers of many of today’s world-class artists.

Award-winning musician Vanessa Porter transforms Megaron’s stage into a soundscape of different emotional states, where pleasant silence alternates with fragile beauty and explosive vibrations, taking the listener to the very borders of human existence. Folie à deux describes a mental disorder in which a healthy person adopts and gradually participates in the delusions of a borerline psychotic person close to them. Together with soundmaster Daniel Mudrack and using different instruments, Vanessa Porter recounts the feelings of those affected through music, improvisation, live loops and soundscapes, turning the spotlight to a disease that remains largely unknown.
