In musical history, we sometimes come across partnerships between great violinists and great pianists which made history by producing milestone interpretations of works of the respective repertoire. Vilde Frang’s partnership with Dennis Kozhukhin is undoubtedly such a “summit meeting” between two musicians of exceptional virtuosic and expressive qualities. The Norwegian violinist and the Russian pianist are both at their absolute peak, pursuing their very active schedule of soloist commitments around the world. It is with the same dedication and success that they also approach the chamber music repertoire, choosing emblematic works of the 19th and 20th centuries for their much-awaited recital at Megaron.
