The exceptionally talented musicians who make up the Marcin Wasilewski Trio are distinguished for their musical genius, their talent for improvisation and their unique communication with the audience. Since 1994, the Trio has enjoyed an impressive career on the international jazz scene, with a rich discography – seven albums on the pioneering German label ECM Records, among others – and collaborations with top names such as Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Joe Lovano and the legendary Charles Lloyd. The Trio includes Athens in its world tour celebrating its thirtieth anniversary, and comes to the Megaron to thrill jazz fans with its creative ideas, a product of the deep musical understanding its members have gained through their long cooperation on stage.
