Ballet in two acts

The Ballet of the Odessa National Opera, with a cast of seventy, comes to Megaron the Athens Concert Hall to present this masterpiece of classical dance to the dreamy music of Adolphe Adam. A work with emotional swings, ideal choreographic openings and high technical demands, Giselle, ou les Wilis (Giselle, or the Wilis), as the full title is, is a ballet of the Romantic period that has survived to the present day without losing a trace of its power.

It is, moreover, not by chance one of the most beloved ballets in the history of dance, and a favorite work of every dancer. The work celebrates unadulterated love and laments hearts desperate for love. Written in 1841, it is still performed to this day with undiminished success.

The show is recommended for children from 5 years of age.
