Young composers talk to George Kouroupos and George Koumentakis
March 15
– A first performance of works by Charis Papatrehas, Thanasis Kontonikolas, Dimitris Doxakis, Dimitrios Skyllas and Stathis Kambilis, written specially for the Contemporary Music Workshops
– The Penelope-Ulysses and Phaeacian Dance sections of George Kouroupos’ Odyssey will also be performed.
March 16
– A first performance of works by Andromahi Dimoyiannopoulou, George Zambaklis, Vasilis Tsiatsianis, Georgia Koumara and Orestis Goumenos, written specially for the Contemporary Music Workshops
– The programme will also feature George Koumentakis’ Five more steps until you fall asleep.
