Two important concerts featuring the works of Manos Hadjidakis: the legendary “Gioconda’s Smile “and soundtrack from the Paramount Hollywood production, “Blue”.
These concerts also mark the anniversary of an event relating to Gioconda’s Smile. It is 50 years since the work was first recorded and distributed; a digital disc is to be made of the stereophonic recording, since it was only released in the American version by the original stereo master. This edition comes in a collectors’ BOX with an additional disc, containing the original recording of six of the themes played on the piano by Manos Hadjikakis himself. This constitutes a piece of our musical history, being presented to the public for the first time through this collector’s edition.
