Co-produced by the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra and the Athens Concert HallIn celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Rena Kyriakou, so modest yet so great a composer, pianist, and teacher, the Athens Concert Hall introduces two other lesser-known but important female composers: Mario Foscarina Damaschinó (1850-1921) and Eleni Lambiri (1889-1960).
Brilliant young pianist George Konstantinou plays the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 by Rena Kyriakou.
