CHRISTMAS AT THE MEGARON

The inauguration of the Megaron organ in Christmas 1993 opened up new possibilities for music evens: concerts, festivals, invitations to international artists; it also enabled training the first organists in Greece, who have gone onto international careers as soloists. Among them, Ourania Gassiou: The organist of the Megaron and the French Protestant Church in London presents a programme featuring major works by classical and contemporary composers, showcasing the expansive palette of the king of instruments. A Christmas recital featuring 6,000 pipes!

Works by Felix Mendelssohn, Johann Sebastian Bach, Olivier Messiaen, Eugène Gigout, Marco Enrico Bossi
