For the 6th consecutive year, the International Competition for Animated film music organised by Megaron the Athens Concert Hall in the Bridges Cycle, is proud to announce it is now open for submissions on the film “Elevator Alone” directed by Anastasia Papadopopulou.
Each year, the significant participation from Greece and abroad proves a considerable interest on the part of composers – young as well as older – in film music, especially for animated movies, which offer a vast scope for imaginative musical composition, creativity and freedom of expression.
One of Animegaron’s main goals is to serve as a platform for promoting talented composers of music for animation films and to also facilitate their communication and networking with directors, producers and executives in the entertainment and theatre industries.
Jury Panel Members this year:

- Sergio Kotsovoulos (director)
- Dimitris Maragopulos (Composer, Head of The Bridges Cycle)
- Elli Papakonstantinou (director)
- Prof. Konstantinos Tiligadis (visual artist, deputy chairman of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University)
The top ten entries will be chosen and presented on the Megaron website on Friday, 24 February 2023.
Three prize winners will be chosen and will be supported by a broad range of promotional initiatives. The top 25 entries will be hosted on a special Megaron online Platform and the Megaron’s Youtube Channel.
Closing date for entries: 16 December 2022, 17:00 (Greek time).
