Eleni Exarchou is a composer, pianist, conductor and arranger, a graduate of the Department of Music Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a scholar of the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). She holds a piano diploma with special distinction and a diploma in advanced music theory from the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, and has studied composition with Th. Antoniou and L. Hatzileontiadis.
In 2018, she won the 2nd prize at the International Animated Film Music Competition at Megaron the Athens Concert Hall, and in 2019, the 1st special distinction in that year’s edition of the same Competition, for her music for Alicja Jasina’s film Once upon a line. She has written works for solo instruments, voice, instrumental ensembles, short films and for theatre.
