As everyone knows, since 1929 the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has been awarding its famous gold statuettes (Oscars) to outstanding figures in Film, at the annual Academy Awards ceremony. Among them are, of course, composers whose music left made history in the dark cinema halls, as the ideal accompaniment of great films.
