A charismatic classical mandolin player and a jazz musician encounter each other in an innovative, sophisticated journey of jazz, folk and Middle Eastern tones.
Avi Avital lifts the mandolin to a higher level with his playing. Coming from the world of Vivaldi and Bach, he will now encounter the equally charismatic jazz musician Omer Avital (not related), who doubles on acoustic bass and oud, the Arabic lute. Their innovative hybrid of jazz, folk and Middle Eastern tones will be performed with a sophisticated chamber music approach.
