Breaking Art II – The Performance

Six choreographers collaborate with six young musicians-composers in order to create original works to be presented to the public. This show has been preceded by intensive preparation (January-March 2019) at a creative collaboration workshop taught (for the second year in a row) by Sophia Mavragani and Thanos Polymeneas-Liontiris.
The workshop studies the relationship between dance and music through a process of collaboration that offers to participants the technical tools for creation as well as the experience of creative interaction. The ultimate goal is to provide artistic support to debutant artists, to reinforce their aesthetic choices, and to network a rising generation of young artists.
