Camerata and renowned maestro George Petrou, who in recent years have jointly signed countless successful concerts and recordings internationally, meet again. Their programme includes the great German cantor’s two grand orchestral suites, along with the three suites that make up Händel’s famous Water Music. The work was commissioned by King George I and premiered on July 17, 1717, during a royal cruise on the Thames – hence its title. Baroque music dresses up to the nines and sets to utterly charm the Athenian public during a magical evening, thanks to the talented musicians of Camerata and the boundless inspiration of George Petrou.
