The Camerata–Friends of Music Orchestra Musicians return to the baroque repertoire, on period instruments, and under the baton of Markellos Chrysikopoulos. Renowned for the originality and musicality of his interpretations, the virtuoso harpsichordist and conductor, in collaboration with a select group of harpsichord virtuosi, presents Johann Sebastian Bach’s masterly concerti for two, three, and even four harpsichords. A keyboard virtuoso himself, Bach created exquisite compositions in which the silvery sound of the harpsichords merges with the sensuous quality of the baroque strings in a unique combination of skill and musicality.
