For some artists, introductions are unnecessary. Violinist Janine Jansen and pianist Dennis Kozhukhin  belong to this category, both of whom excel in the world’s greatest halls thanks to their talent and virtuosity. In every performance, whether in individual recital or in collaboration, they overflow with vitality, energy and musicality, making the best impressions on audiences and critics alike. In their highly anticipated appearance at Megaron the Athens Concert Hall, they focus on popular 19th century works for violin and piano, written by three German composers whom fate brought together in a special way: Robert Schumann, an iconic figure of Romanticism; his wife Clara, an accomplished pianist and highly interesting composer; and Johannes Brahms, a composer who in his youth received the appreciation and support of the Schumann couple and developed a relationship of mutual admiration and passion with Schumann’s wife after her husband’s untimely death.
