The historic Mariinsky Theatre of St. Petersburg, one of the most important opera and ballet theaters, offers priceless artworkfor nearly two and a half centuries.
As part of the “Greece in Russia, Russia in Greece, 2016” events, Valery Gergiev, Artistic Director of the renowned Mariinsky Theatre, organized a festive gala. Famous Mariinsky soloists will perform arias from operas by Verdi, Puccini, Rossini, Donizetti, Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Bizet, and Rimsky-Korsakov.
