Gil Weinberg will talk about the making of Shimon Robot, the prosthetic arm and the concepts and mechanics developed at Georgia Tech. He will touch upon machine learning and the genetic algorithm that is developed to further process the information of different libraries and datasets. He will present concepts concerning human / machine interaction and the future of artificial intelligence, robotics and AI applications.
Roundtable
The aim is to create a constructive discussion with experts on the concepts of artificial intelligence in the arts and humanities, the development of robotics and the interaction with and possible uses for humanity.
The panel will consist of scholars, researchers and postgraduate students of philosophy, artificial intelligence, technology, programming, robotics and music from institutions such as the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, National Centre for Scientific Research DEMOKRITOS, National & Technical University of Athens and Georgia Tech.
