Ivo van Hove, one of the world’s most innovative theatre directors (Network, NT Live: A View from the Bridge), gradually reveals a world of fierce antagonism, jealousy, and ambition, at the same time posing the question why our fascination with celebrity and youth remains so strong. Adapted by Ivo van Hove from the 1950 Twentieth Century Fox film by Joseph L. Mankiewicz, and the play The Wisdom of Eve by Mary Orr. Set and lighting design by Jan Versweyveld, costume design by An D’Huys, music by P. J. Harvey, and sound design by Tom Gibbons.
