OPERA

In collaboration with the
Athens Conservatory & the Athens Conservatory Drama School

The first major opera by Philippos Tsalahouris, staged at the Athens Concert Hall with the support of the Athens Conservatory. A particularly interesting feature of the work is the replacement of the conventional orchestral accompaniment by the sounds of the church organ, combined with an ensemble of two pianos and percussion. The libretto, based on Shakespeare’s work of the same name, is by Dionysis Kapsalis.
