The Measure of All Things
Screening of documentary, accompanied by live music

The film Measure of All Things, which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, is a meditation on fate, time, and the outer contours of the human existence. Inspired loosely by the Guinness Book of Record, the film weaves together a series of portraits of record-holding people, places, and things – from the tallest man in the world to the oldest living person and the person with the world’s longest name. Green does not focus on the records themselves, but on the lives of their holders, highlighting in this way the individual and collective search for meaning.  What makes the experience of the film unique is the fact that it is narrated live by the director himself while a live band performs the soundtrack.

The six-member yMusic ensemble will accompany the Academy Award-nominated director at this live-cinema experience of The Measure of All Things.

Crowd-funding workshop (at 5 p.m. – MC2 Hall)
