A new reading, by contemporary voices, of the work and the all-time favourites of great composer/songwriter, band conductor, and virtuoso trumpeter. Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Mariza Rizou, Foivos Delivorias, Doros Dimosthenous, and Stavros Salabasopoulos render the power, brio, passion, and irresistible charm of his classic songs.
They are accompanied by a wind band and acclaimed soloists, in a special evening featuring distinctive orchestrations that characterize Mouzakis’ many-faceted oeuvre. The so-called ‘King of the Revue’ set his seal on the golden era of the Greek revue, in the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s.
