DANCE AT MEGARON – THE BOLSHOI BALLET LIVE FROM MOSCOW

Le Corsaire, one of the most luxurious and spectacular Bolshoi productions, with 120 dancers and a shipwreck onstage, offers drama, magic, and exoticism. The libretto draws inspiration from Lord Byron’s poem, while Alexei Ratmansky’s choreography is a brilliant reworking of the Petipa classic. The ‘mesmerizing’ Ekaterina Krysanova and Leading Soloist Igor Tsvirko appear in the main roles.

At the bazaar of Adrianopolis, corsair Conrad falls in love at first sight with beautiful slave Medora. Realizing that the Pasha, struck by her beauty, is trying to buy her, he decides to kidnap her…
