A one-man adaptation based on the play by Anton Chekhov.

Andrew Scott (Fleabag) brings the diverse characters of Uncle Vanya’s heroes to life in this radical new one-man version by Simon Stevens (Who Killed the Dog at Midnight). Hopes, dreams and past mistakes are at the core of this new adaptation of the Chekhovian drama, which explores the complexities of human emotions. Ivan (Uncle Vanya) has devoted his life to his family’s estate and business affairs, without receiving much recognition for his efforts. Andrew Scott plays all the roles; Vanya, Elena, retired Professor Alexander and his daughter Sonia, Vanya’s widowed mother Maureen, his rival and country doctor Michael, Grandma Maria, Elizabeth and Liam.
